
THUNDER Development Milestones
From our 2019 Unreal Engine Bear Isle prototype to our 2020 Intrepid vertical slice showcasing outdoor arena gameplay, follow our journey in creating the greatest game in history.
Our journey began in 2019 with the Bear Isle prototype, a proof of concept that demonstrated our vision for large-scale multiplayer combat in stunning environments. Built in Unreal Engine, this prototype laid the groundwork for what would become THUNDER.
In 2020, we achieved a major milestone with the Intrepid vertical slice. This demo showcased our outdoor arena gameplay, featuring dynamic weather systems, destructible environments, and intense player-versus-player combat. The positive response from playtesters confirmed we were on the right track.
Since then, our team of over 70 passionate developers has been working tirelessly to expand on these foundations. We've implemented advanced AI systems, refined our combat mechanics, and created a rich lore that gives depth to every battle.
The road ahead is exciting. We're currently in alpha testing with select community members, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach our beta launch!
